Even prospectively, will we have enough jobs for all these people?
The painful reality of a recession and anti business environment.
Yet, Wall Street and corporate America are hitting record highs.
The only jobs that are available are the ones we cant outsource: restaurants, movie theaters, store clerks, car sales, coffee shops. Basically, the service industry. Which means it is seasonal, and, it pays little, but sends huge profits up the chain. And of course, government to maintain order in that society.
Great for owners and stockholders. Bad for workers.
And the numbers basically show that.
Even prospectively, will we have enough jobs for all these people?
In the U.S. people either a) don't want to work b) don't have to work c) aren't qualified to work...

Is relief on the way? Not if the Senate Gang of Eight has its way.
The massive immigration bill they're putting together would add millions more to the legal labor market by granting an amnesty with instant legal status and work permits for 11 million illegal aliens. Plus, the new deal agreed to by both union and business lobbyists would create up to 200,000 new temporary guest-worker visas each year in addition to a yet unspecified increase in permanent green cards.
OVER 251,000 PEOPLE HAVE SIGNED IT!
PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION AGAINST AN AMNESTY FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS
AND IT WILL BE FAXED IMMEDIATELY TO ALL OF YOUR REPRESENTATIVES
FOR FREE!
WHY SIGNING THIS PETITION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN OTHERS!
The reason is that signing this petition puts a person into an email system at NumbersUSA that will alert them every time one of their elected officials needs to hear something specific about immigration. Nobody else but NumbersUSA runs a customized grassroots mobilization system like this that constantly gathers information on Capitol Hill about your Members of Congress and then lets you know what they are doing, saying and thinking about immigration policy.
The New York Times and other mass media have repeatedly stated that NumbersUSA's
mobilization network led the efforts that defeated the close-call amnesty efforts of 2007 and 2010. But the forces for open borders are far more powerful today. Please help by passing along this Petition to everybody you know.

While many PRO-OPEN BORDER organizations get millions of dollars from the government,
NumbersUSA is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that relies ONLY on donations to
continue its work to help Americans change immigration policies.
If you can afford too please donate to NumbersUSA:

The disenfranchisement of workers from productive work continues.
I see absolutely NO plan to change that coming from either the RNC or DNC.
In fact these people don't even have the balls to acknowledge the nature of the problem.
They're still either trying to convince us that MORE EDUCATION (that's the Dems usual refrain) will solve the problem or that the American workers are too lazy to work ergo we just had no choice but to open our market to CHINA and the rest of the developing world.(that the GOPs constant mantra).
Note how BOTH completely avoid the REAL issue?
The value of ALL Human labor (including intellectual labor) is constantly and rapidly being undermined by technological progress.
What they BOTH REFUSE to admit is that the only solution is a radical change in the social contract.

And why would corporate America reinvest in Obama's economy? We're a ship without a rudder. The moron is flushing us down the shitter while instituting brain dead bullshit programs with no merit.
The fed is printing then pumping tens of millions of ever-devalued dollars into the economy and interest rates are near zero. Where else are investors to put their money but into the stock market?
All depends how wide you make the frame, dunnit.

All depends on how you spin it
for example in Florida the economy is dead in most of the state
Why?
Totally dependent on the housing market and tourism
Add selective oil and gas sector activities watch them what occurs as an example
The administration will not support the free market, not does the state for that matter (which has a GOP governor)
This is just an example of many area in this country feeling the same pain for the same reasons

The problem is not jobs for the educated or the hard worker it is a problem with the low skilled low educated workers.
There are lots of jobs opening in the energy field. And as we baby boomers retire there will be more tech jobs opening. The future, in my opinion, is bright for an educated, in the right degree, person. Get an English degree? Might as well throw the money away. Learn a craft or a skill, the world is yours, in my opinion.
but for those without skill or education the future is one of dependency, in my opinion. The Clinton "free" trade agreements took away the manufacturing jobs for these people. The illegals flooding the country with the blessing of the liberal left has taken what is left. That leaves only dependency on welfare for the rest. Sad state of affairs the left wing has brought onto American. Good thing they have accomplished men like Romney to blame for their disasters.

Florida has a population of 19 million and the number of people who filed taxes are 8.9 million people. They have a poverty problem.
