One can only pity those poor misguided souls who named their children "Barack."

1. There is that famous tale told by the congenital liar who just lost the presidency....
"On a first-lady goodwill tour of Asia in April 1995—the kind of banal trip that she now claims as part of her foreign-policy "experience"—Mrs. Clinton had been in Nepal and been briefly introduced to the late Sir Edmund Hillary, conqueror of Mount Everest. Ever ready to milk the moment, she announced that her mother had actually named her for this famous and intrepid explorer. The claim "worked" well enough to be repeated at other stops and even showed up in Bill Clinton's memoirs almost a decade later, as one more instance of the gutsy tradition that undergirds the junior senator from New York.

Clinton was born in 1947, and Sir Edmund Hillary and his partner Tenzing Norgay did not ascend Mount Everest until 1953, so the story was self-evidently untrue and eventually yielded to fact-checking.

For Sen. Clinton, something is true if it validates the myth of her striving and her "greatness" (her overweening ambition in other words) and only ceases to be true when it no longer serves that limitless purpose. "
The case against Hillary Clinton. - By Christopher Hitchens - Slate Magazine]

To believe Bill's wife, she must have been known as 'Anonymous' for her first 6 years of life.

I recommend that the poor children saddled with the name 'Barack' assume the same alias.

2. And, speaking of Obama, and his eulogy, the AP published this truthful analysis:
"In boasting about his tenure in the White House, President Barack Obama often cites numbers ....
There's one number you will almost never hear: More than 1,030 seats.

That's the number of spots in state legislatures, governor's mansions and Congress lost by Democrats during Obama's presidency.

3. The leadership of the one-time community organizer .... he'll leave behind a Democratic Party that languished in his shadow for years and is searching for itself.
....his election was heralded as a moment of Democratic dominance — the crashing of a conservative wave that had swept the country since the dawn of the Reagan era.

Democrats believed that the coalition of young, minority and female voters who swept Obama into the White House would usher in something new: an ascendant Democratic majority that would ensure party gains for decades to come.

The coalition, it turns out, was Obama's alone.
[And six or seven morons on this very board!]

4. Democrats hold the governor's office and both legislative chambers in just five coastal states: Oregon, California, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Delaware. Republicans have the trifecta in 25, giving them control of a broad swath of the middle of the country.
The defeats have all but wiped out a generation of young Democrats....
[Where's that dope who posted 'Greatest President evahhhh!!!!]

Obama's tenure has marked the greatest number of losses under any president in decades."
As Obama accomplished policy goals, his party floundered

5. The key to understnding the mistake known as the Democrat Party, right here:
"I Only Voted For Obama ‘Cause He’s Black. Now What?"

Advice to Democrats: drop the focus on skin color.

Become Americans again.
