A question about store supplies in your area.

A water hose with a sprayer attachment ran through the window does the same except when it's below freezing.
That's what made me upgrade. We had the water hose on the side of the toilet for years. Boy let me tell you...winter time that thing was murder.

Just came back from the grocery store. Shelves are mostly empty! Is there something going on I missed? Or maybe just driver shortage?
Are things the same in your area?
When you have a consumer based economy mixed with a trade imbalance of hundreds of billions of dollars....THEN start a trade war....shortages ensue. Add in a pandemic that hurt the worldwide blue collar labor force disproportionately....and it's not a surprise that we have stress as consumers. There is a certain type of shower gel that I prefer. It has been very hard to come by for months.

The Dems are slowing down shipments, especially from overseas, in order to drive up prices and create a recession panic.

There are lots of online stories already online about all of this.....with tons of reasoning behind them.
Just a matter of days or even hours, before the media commies start twisting and distorting whats really going on.

I'm sure the Dems are also bribing big business to "go slow" and limit what is shipped out, while keeping their warehouses packed full.

If people would keep their heads, and limit their purchases to minimal basic needs every time they go to the store, there won't be any shortages.

And yes, I'm seeing empty shelves in my stores................but it's stuff like crackers, cookies, sweet and sour sauce, applesauce, and stuff like that. Non-essentials.

They are still packed to the ceiling with tissues, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, soaps, bread, cereals, and such.

If you want to keep a spare box of "emergency" food stuffs..........get canned soups, dried packaged foods that you only have to add hot water to, long term shelf life foods, like applesauce, instant jello, packaged bread mixes (just add water and bake), even popcorn, cooking oil, dried beans, dried rice, and spices. I've got a box for myself, of canned chili, soups, veggies, beans, and crackers.
Your logic is that Biden is intentionally wanting to have a recession....

Wow; that is the dumbest thing you've ever written.

I grow what I need and buy what I am too lazy to tend to myself but things ain't that bad...Maybe you all just need too much...

There's been holes here in Nashville TN for a while now. I noticed when strange brands of foods started showing up. Basically the warehouses were buying anything they could get their hands on...and now everything is gone.

Cuts of meat are missing...the basics are there but expensive...much of the processed meats like lunch meat and bacon and sausages are missing too.

All the variety meats are missing...
Various other products without rhyme or reason are just empty.

There is food...it's just expensive for what is there and the choices are limited.

This is socialism ala the Biden Administration.

This YouTube video explains a lot...

Says it might get better by 2nd quarter of 2022...

Groceries are usually shipped by the cheapest means possible...they pay the least amount per mile and with high diesel prices...fughetaboutit.

What this also means is that if you want something special for Christmas...to have or to give...start working on getting it now.
It's just not going to be there come December.

I was at Costco today. the store was well stocked, but almost everyone had toilet paper, paper towels, and a case of water in their cart.

a family member in tx said sams ran out of toilet paper.

Pet food is a big one here. Slim pickens on canned cat food especially. Same with refrigerated dog food and duck or chicken jerky dog treats. Low stock on canned dog food.

Low stock on things like plastic storage bins ( all varieties). Shelving units. Pillows.

Also canned food, frozen food.

Make up ( could be just NM) but make up shelves are bare. Certain brands of body wash like the zest fruit scents ( is one I haven’t been able to find in particular)

Certain brands of hair masks and conditioners. Low stock on others

TP seems to be stocked but Facial tissue is always low.

Kind of random but still out of the ordinary for sure.

Even Leftist Media Is Warning of a ‘System Collapse’ Due to the Failure of Global Supply Chains

If CNN starts sounding like The Economic Collapse Blog, what does that mean? Unfortunately, the truth about what is in our immediate future is becoming apparent to everyone. Global supply chains are in a state of complete and utter chaos, and this is driving up prices and causing widespread shortages all over the country.

Over the past couple of weeks, I have written five articles with either “shortage” or “shortages” in the title, and some have accused me of being a little alarmist. If that is the case, then CNN is being alarmist too, because one of their top stories today openly warned of a “global transport system collapse”…

In an open letter Wednesday to heads of state attending the United Nations General Assembly, the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) and other industry groups warned of a “global transport system collapse” if governments do not restore freedom of movement to transport workers and give them priority to receive vaccines recognized by the World Health Organization.

For decades, we have all been able to take our extremely complex supply chains for granted. Things have always been where they need to be when they needed to be there, and many of us just assumed that it would always be that way.

From last week ...had it loaded up to post but I got sidetracked ....cause I have a life....for now ...derp
Don't say we didn't warn yas ....
And they laughed when we said civilization can turn on a dime
What I have noticed is that most shortages are short lived. However one shortage goes away and another pops up. For months we could not buy our cats favorite cat food. Last week there was plenty of it. However, the bottle water the wife's drinks was no where to be found. The frozen waffles had disappeared and so had the Morningstar corn dogs. I think in the US we forget that Covid in many countries is still creating big problems. Before Covid I got packages from India in 3 weeks. Now it's taking 2 months.
