A Review of the "Putin Ploy"

If you read between the lines of the breathless media rhetoric it seems that there was no penetration of the U.S. electoral system. What's more you have to ask yourself why Barry Hussein didn't raise an alarm before the election and why McCain's Armed Services Committee wasn't worried about cyber hacking. The short answer is that attempted hacking goes on constantly with both domestic and foreign attempts. Likewise the U.S. probably does the same thing. The reason the Obama administration wasn't worried was because there was no threat and Hillary was expected to win. When John Kerry was interviewed by Fox news about the alleged hacking and why Obama wasn't worried before the election he mumbled something unintelligible. If you go back in time you will find two Washington Post reporters who made a career out of (faked?) unverified information from an informant allegedly inside the Nixon administration who wasn't identified until 30 years later when he was dead. How can the same media outlet criticize Wikileaks for the same tactics?

Every post past the OP is trolling and off topic. Obviously all you left wing loons have left are insults.

Thank heavens for the report button. This shit keeps up I'm going to begin to embrace it.

Hey I don't mind when there are a few shots taken at each other but sadly over this election cycle some posters have become bitter enemies of others and are starting to do the "gang up" where it is just post after post after post ad nauseum of stupid "you have cooties shit. "Tiresome. L or R. I don't give a crap who is doing it.

Very bipartisan "knock that f'n shit off" attitude.

Let me begin with what is the only true and logical conclusion of the entire episode:
....the aim is to de-legitimize the new administration, and make it more difficult for Trump to be a success in foreign policy.

Now...the review:

1. The constant drumbeat is aimed at poisoning any chance that the new administration has of finding areas of compatibility with Russia.

2. Assuming, arguendo, that leaking material about the Democrats and their candidate were aimed at influencing the electorate, list those things that the electorate knew from the 'leaks' that they didn't know before.
There are none.

3. What evidence has the 'intelligence community' provided beyond conjecture and/or 'consensus.'
Blaming is not the same as proving.

4. "Beyond the government’s headline assertion that Russia is to blame, “it’s important to parse the public statement pretty closely,” said Susan Hennessey, a national security fellow at the Brookings Institution. “They’re being really careful in their word choice.”
The Department of Homeland Security and Office of the Director of National Intelligence on Election Security said in a statement earlier this month that “only Russia’s senior-most officials could have authorized these activities.”
But that statement does not mean that the U.S. has “direct evidence of senior official-level involvement,” Hennessey said.
Without more definitive statements, it’s difficult for some technical experts to take the government’s word on faith, she and others have said.

There’s no evidence that this was done by the state itself, only evidence it was done by non-state actors that might be Russian-speaking,” said Jeffrey Carr, CEO of the cyber security consultancy firm Taia Global, referring to the evidence available to the public.

That evidence, which was released by private threat assessment companies rather than official channels, indicates hackers used Cyrillic keyboards and operated during Moscow working hours.
But indicators of identity like timestamps, language preferences and IP addresses “can be manipulated or faked rather easily,” said Juan Andres Guerrero-Saade, a senior security researcher at Kaspersky Lab."
Does the U.S. government really know who hacked Democrats' emails?

5. Could a 14-yr-old have done the 'hacking'?
"Technically, an enterprising 14-year-old could have tricked John Podesta...":
Could a 14-Year-Old Have Hacked John Podesta?

6. While the Democrats would love to claim expertise for the intelligence community....
a. the have been totally wrong and incompetent in a number of cases...and
b. the Democrat in Congress....the Otis Pike Committees and Frank Church Committees totally emasculated the apparatus. Many have said that their policies were responsible for 9/11.

7. The attempt to paint Trump as trying to cozy up to Putin ignores Hillary's "reset button" and Obama's 'flexibility' promises. The snake actually stopped placing defensive structures in Europe to win Putin's favor.

8. If Trump were going to be submissive to Putin, how to explain Dan Coates as Trump's pick for Director of National Intelligence:
Coates was forbidden to go to Russia by Putin for comparing him to Hitler:
"people from the US had been similarly blacklisted, including ... and Dan Coats of Indiana, a former US ambassador to Germany. “While I’m disappointed that I won’t be able to go on vacation with my family in Siberia this summer,” Coats wisecracked, “I am honored to be on this list.”Chrystia Freeland: My Ukraine, and Putin’s big lie

9. Consider this: both may by true- Russia trying to influence the election....and Demorcrats using the "Putin Ploy" to de-legitimize a Trump presidency.

10. It is, in fact, the only logical conclusion:
....the aim is to de-legitimize the new administration, and make it more difficult for Trump to be a success in foreign policy.

You've spent years trying to "de-legitimize" every Democratic President from Wilson to Obama, and demeaned every Democrat as a leftist, Fascist, Socialist, Marxist, Commie, and now defend a former member of the KGB and leader of a Communist Nation whose having a bromance with the P-e!

You're more fucked up than even I considered you to be!

whose having a bromance with the P-e!

1. "You've spent years trying to "de-legitimize" every Democratic President from Wilson to Obama,..."
You've ended any suggestion of credibility before you even begin!
"...trying..."????
When have I ever been less than 100% successful, you dunce???

2."...and demeaned every Democrat as a leftist, Fascist, Socialist, Marxist, Commie,..."
And, a perfect example of my 100% accuracy!
There is no difference between the aims of the modern Democrat Party and the Communist Party, USA.

Watch:
....take a look at the aims of the Communist Party, USA, and the aims of the modern Democrat Party.

Watch, and note the consubstantial basis of both the aims of the Communist Party and the Democrat Party:

......it is ...extraordinary.....the correspondence between the aims of the communist party and the aims of the Democrats.....

1. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

2. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces.

3. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

4. . Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

5. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.

6. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

7. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.

8. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."

9. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."

10. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

11. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

12. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

13. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce

Now....wouldn't an honest appraisal agree that all or almost all are clearly the aims and direction of Democrats/Liberals/Progressive leaders?

I actually have no problem with their posts...it's an admission of their rage.

It is a sign of the deep and abiding pain that Liberals have absorbed at the realization that the electorate recognizes what losers they are.

And....couldn't happen to a more deserving lot.

This fake scandal has become a joke. When I found out the other day that the FBI's first report was based on a third party's assessment of the hacking I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

To base the report of CrowdStrike's findings is beyond the pale. For crying out loud we are supposed to beleive a tech company hired by the DNC? Give me a freaking break.

Has the FBI finally gotten around to examining the servers yet? It would be nice if they did so.

You know what it sounds like...it sounds like we need an independent investigation into the hacking. Why is the GOP leadership opposed to such an investigation?

There never was any 'hacking' of the election....everyone concerned agrees with that....EVERYONE.....

So, your gripe is that the truth about Bill's wife was revealed???

Why?

The Russians refer to Trump as "our little bitch".

Actually, they don't use the word "bitch". They use something more vulgar.

Needless to say, they never referred to Obama in such a way. They had major respect for him, and for Clinton.

Well said, they appeared because Obama commanded it. The shear stupidity that Clapper testify in a public hearing defines the desperation of the DNC. I pray they continue this stupidity another 2 years, it will lead to another failed election for them.

The election has been finished for 2 months now and the Obama DOJ has yet to investigate the DNC's corruption. Where is the inquiry into the manipulation of the Democrat Primary? Where are the indictments for Wassermann-Schultz or Brazil for election fraud? In both cases there is ACTUAL PROOF a crime was committed. Yet there is no proof on the table that anything happened that Russia or Putin truly influenced our elections.

Where is the LMSM in regards to the DNC's corruption? Crickets...

Why is the GOP leadership opposed to such an investigation?

leThe committee assigned to handle this is a bipartisan committee. Diane Feinstein is the co chair of it. I trust this true Democrat. Not many left.

The leadership aka Mitch McConnell knows damn well the McCain wants to be all "mavericky" again and try to take Trump out this way. It's obvious that McCain and Graham are most interested in delegitimizing the election.

John"once upon a time I was a war hero but now I'm just an arrogant bitchy old fool that wants to stay relevant" McCain and Lindsey aka the Capitol Hill Bobbsy Twins are just doing same old same old.

Terrorist loving old SOBs should just fade into this good night.

There were something like 12 Benghazi investigations. Why is the GOP leadership opposed to an independent investigation into this? Independent would mean independent of McCain and of Yertle the Turtle.

This is a fact...the GOP is opposed to an independent investigation. Why?

Investigate.....what, you dolt?

There is no definitive way to determine who did what.

None.

Here, from the OP and from NPR:

“There’s no evidence that this was done by the state itself, only evidence it was done by non-state actors that might be Russian-speaking,” said Jeffrey Carr, CEO of the cyber security consultancy firm Taia Global, referring to the evidence available to the public.

The entire 'fake news' is aimed at influencing the most dull among us.
Raise your paw.

You're more fucked up than even I considered you to be!

I got 'em from a website of declared communist goals...

Whereso?
Show that 'defense'....or admit that you are a lying Liberal....Oooop! a redundancy.

4. "You're more fucked up than even I considered you to be!"
Clean up your language, you low-life scum.

Ladies and Gentlemen, oh, and members of the USMB on the far right, this post is witness to the reaction one can expect when one does not kiss a narcissist's ass, and instead kicks it.

Forgive me PC, allow me to rephrase: You are more screwed up than even I consider you to be.

Does that assuage your prodigious Id?

Gads, you're stupid....intellectually dull, and lack a facility with the English language.

Case in point:

"Ladies and Gentlemen, oh, and members of the USMB on the far right,"
There is no Far Right in this country.
A Far Left...yes.
A coterie of the clueless....indeed, and you a charter member.

Now....watch me put you in your place AGAIN!

The terms far right and far left are relative to some understood center.

To be "far," one's positions must be radical relative to that center.
American traditions, values, and history represent that center.

The premise here is that, if I can show that the values called 'Far Right' are actually at the center of American traditions, values, and history represent that center, well then, they cannot be correctly awarded the modifier "Far."

"Radical" is important to the discussion. It means "especially of change or action relating to or affecting the fundamental nature of something; far-reaching or thorough" (see Google.)

To be 'far,' it must be at a distance to the center: American traditions, values, and history represent that center.

There are so very many ways to prove same.....

Let's take as an example, traditional marriage, that involves one man and one woman, and compare that with homosexual marriage..
....which is the radical position?
Hence, Far Left.

Need convincing? Well, a common social reference is 'the nuclear family.' It has always menant:
" a family group that consists only of father, mother, and children" Definition of NUCLEAR FAMILY

How about 'traditional family'?
"A traditional family is a family structure that consists of a man, woman and one or more of their biological or adopted children. In most traditional families, the man and woman are husband and wife." Traditional Family: Definition & Concept | Study.com

So....as far as the concept of marriage and family, where do we find the radical position?
The Left.
Hence, 'Far Left.'
So far, far from the center, that they cannot point to a single philosopher, sage, or religious leader throughout history who has endorsed homosexual marriage.

If you have used the fallacy "Far Right," see if you can come up with any radical positions by conservatives, the right wing.

Do you recognize what a fool you are yet????

Crickets...

"The election has been finished for 2 months now..."

Not as far as the Left is concerned.....just look at this thread.

As far as they are concerned....It is never finished until they regain power.

SENATE MINORITY LEADER CHUCK SCHUMER:" The only way we’re going to work with [President-elect Donald Trump] is if he moves completely in our direction and abandons his Republican colleagues. "
