It's been nearly 16 years since Pakistan tested their first 6 nukes. In none of the years since did the Saudis feel compelled to acquire them despite the fact that their neighbor, the "Zionist entity," is believed to possess them. Suddenly, with Iranian nukes on the horizon the Saudis believe they need some. Evidently some in the Arab/Muslim World aren't as concerned about rational Israel being armed as they are about their other neighbors:
