This is a pro-consumerism vignette inspired by the film Up Close and Personal.

Black Cat, NYC's strange costumed 'feline female vigilante' was actually a city clerk employee named Felicia Hardy. Felicia had a boring job and was tired of her boring life, so she wanted to infuse it with some Christian 'fervor' by prowling the city as Black Cat every Saturday night and staking out sports-pubs and sports-stadiums (when major games were being played) to encourage Americans to be more patriotic towards the entertainment industry (especially televised sports events such as the all-important Super Bowl). When people asked Felicia why she was dressed as Black Cat, she explained that cats represent real sensitivity.
However, when NFL superstar QB Cam Newton was suspected of illegal steroids-use, all of America became demoralized, and Black Cat's 'vigilante antics' simply lost their 'flavor' with the public. Black Cat (Felicia) tried to cheer everyone up by suggesting that Cam could bounce back from hell, but the masses were unmoved, specially since Cam's Panthers were the first real football prodigies since the Manning brothers to give Patriots Goliath Tom Brady an actual worthwhile contest. Black Cat countered all this malaise/cynicism by reminding New Yorkers that Brady was simply the new Al Capone.
Soon, Black Cat's idealism started catching on, and even after Cam Newton was imprisoned, New Yorkers started considering the wisdom of catering to a pro-entertainment industry optimism towards general American athletics thoroughfare. Black Cat even made giant billboards about how the great San Francisco earthquake actually united urbanites rather than driving them apart. Well, New Yorkers liked her overall rosy and child-like American Dream 'dance,' but the NYC mafia boss Kingpin (who was profiting from Newton's expulsion from the NFL and how it changed the betting odds in his favor --- since he had been betting against Cam) was enraged and killed Felicia Hardy (Black Cat). Nevertheless, President Trump called her the real 'Christian Barbie.'
