In the UK, I pay £1.479 per litre of diesel. There are 3.7854 litres to a US gallon. The exchange rate is $1.35 to the £pound. So I pay $7.758 per gallon.

I wish I paid $3.08 per gallon.

That's because your government rapes you with taxes so the proles can't afford to drive.

trump had lower gas prices at the end of his term. A USA average of around $2.00
It appears the lowest it got was at the beginning of 2020. Hard to tell exactly when it was the lowest (What date in 2020)

It appears that gas prices were about the exact same in 2016, the beginning of trump and the end of obama.

Just to clarify, no body is happy with higher gas prices, but historically it will go back down.
