AOC was not lying. The Capitol office building is connected to the Capitol by a tunnel. Once they breached the capitol they could have easily gotten into the office building AOC was in. The capitol police know this and that is why they were evacuating the office building she was in. A officer forgot to identify himself when he was evacuating the building so she had no idea who was out there.

There is no evidence coronavirus was developed as a weapon. It apparently was found in bats and the research was aimed at whether it could spread to humans.
