First, Trump won’t be the nominee. The issue, the biggest issue for the next several years, will be Europe.

The world now knows that Putin is an aggressor, and chances are that there will be war between now and the next Presidential. While Trumpists will be screaming Border Security, everyone will be focused on Europe.
