Enjoy your psychosis dip shit...

In the real world Trump is stomping your ass.

with his 30% approval rating, trump scum lowlife?

Yea...That's right libtard...

and she did until comet's little announcement ten days before the election.

but then again, you're too stupid to understand that. so no worries.

you should also probably learn a little something about statistics and how they work. but no worries, we know you're too stupid for that too.

Surprisingly a lot of jack leg psychiatry is being practiced by trained psychiatrists who are chiming in on the mental health of a president they have not examined or even met. This isn’t new. In 1964 When Barry Goldwater was running for president against Lyndon Johnson, Fact Magazine published a poll of nearly 1200 psychiatrists saying that Goldwater was psychologically unfit to lead the country. Not one of them had ever personally examined Goldwater.

You mean Barry "Deep Down you Know He's Nuts" Goldwater? The thing was, everyone DID know he was crazy. But this was in the good old days when you didn't elect crazy people.

Which is why he lost 44 states.

Ethics, medical or otherwise, have been in short supply in our society and today they are apparently seen as optional, replaced by winning at all costs. Armchair psychoanalysis of a president is going to be on the table because the desperation of the losing side is as bottomless as it is intense.

Or most sensible people who aren't drinking the Trump Koolaid realize there is something seriously wrong with the man.

Probably several things.

But there's a simple enough solution. Order a pyschological exam of the man.
Doofus calling himself a “ stable genius” is the equivalency of Nixon’s “ I Am Not a Crook.”

Crooked hillary now wears that crown...

probably to psychotic trumptrolls.

Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung notwithstanding, the impact of their influence has been long supplanted by the emergence of psychotropic drugs in the 1950’s and 60’s. Recalcitrant schoolchildren are now chemically controlled like zoo animals and modern professional psychiatry has been in a credibility holding pattern for many decades.

Conversely amateur psychiatry is not only ubiquitous, it is rampant. Nowhere is this more evident than in contemporary politics and mass media. The president has come under fire in recent weeks from bush league psychiatry in the press and the political arena that has a nearly hysterical aspect to it.

Goldwater lost in a landslide and filed a winning suit against the magazine. This gave rise to section 7 of the American Psychiatric Association’s (APA) Principles of Medical Ethics, better known as the “Goldwater Rule” stating that is unethical to make a clinical diagnosis or give a professional opinion without personally examining the patient.

Everything they had hoped for, all their dreams and the fundamental construct of their dearly held worldview came under threat when the president got elected. This drove them over the edge and they lost their sanity. This of course is an amateur psychiatric diagnosis but it’s as good as any.

They will not civilly and sanely step aside and accept reality. They will stop at nothing short of impeachment. Everything in their delusional toolbox is a weapon to dismantle the windmill of Donald Trump. Trump has gone from an object of their hatred to a suicidal fetish.

A rigid inability to face an election that was lost and let it go is stark proof of an illness that has progressed to psychosis.

'There is more to the 5-axis diagnosis than a personal interview, and it is my understanding that the "Goldwater rule" is not the be all end all of the process.

For the record, Trump is the President of the United States. However he did not win the popular vote and his behavior during the first year of his presidency is problematic.

Donald Trump's Windmill, is mostly hot air. It changes, sometimes hourly, and even if he is consistent in a message, his handlers spin the mill to make it seem to be sane. It is not by any stretch of the imagination sane.

The evidence that he is a least a bubble off center, is obvious in his tweets, in his speeches and in his denial of things obvious to most citizens.

I give the same advice to you, get a copy of DSM5. It provides definitions which give a clue as to the mental health of the President, and people you know well and only socially. It is estimated that nearly 50% of the population have or will have a diagnosed mental issue in their lifetime. However, only a very few have the power that does Trump.

..."some psychiatrists and other mental-health professionals are shedding long-held norms to argue that Trump’s condition presents risks to the nation and the world. “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump” features more than two dozen essays breaking down the president’s perceived traits, which the contributors find consistent with symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder, sociopathy and other maladies."
Review | Is Trump mentally ill? Or is America? Psychiatrists weigh in.

It is your understanding that the Goldwater Rule is not the end all be all of the process? Fine. Then do tell me how you get around the fact that you're all basing your diagnosis off of the interpretation of his public political statements as seen through your political lenses. You can't even address a Trump quote without assuming that its meaning and motives were the absolute darkest examples that could possibly be attributed to it, and people are supposed to believe that you can put together an accurate analysis based on your obvious, intense biases? LO fucking L. Are there a lot of titans of the psychology or psychiatry fields who would expect accurate results from a psychoanalysis performed by someone with an intensely emotional loathing of the subject?

Your premise that I hate trump is absolutely off the mark. I explained how one might come to the conclusion that the person in question can be diagnosed by factors other than a personal interview (this is called an opinion).

During my career I approved persons detained by deputies I supervised per 5150 of the Welfare and Institutions code, based on their observations of odd behaviors in public.

Then, the Psychiatrists at the County Hospital would either detain the subject for the 48 hour judicial limit, or release the person. If held they could extend the detention up to two weeks to allow for further treatment (usually drugs) or to seek a court commitment for further treatment.

Okay, you say you don't hate him, I'll take your word for it.

On the other hand, every single "diagnosis" I've seen is based off of comments he's making for political purposes, and based off of politically charged interpretations of those comments, at that. What do you got as a basis for your diagnosis? Any specifics?

Graduate Degree in Education (Inter-Disciplinary) covering Psyc, Ab Psyc. Soc. Psyc, Sociology, Soc. Psyc., Counseling, Anthro, Poli Sci, and graduate seminars.

Then, a 32 year career in LE working in a number of different jobs, from Deputy to Executive Managment.

Then you're not looking very hard. If you do, you can find analysis of his speech patterns and vocabulary, along with comparisons to the same from 10 and 20 years ago. You can find analysis of the progression of Trump's anomalies over the years. And you are also providing a convenient bit of cover for Trump..."Cant analyze his political comments"...."All of his comments are political, therefore cant analyze any of them"....how convenient!

Fair enough, I'll go do some digging. And yeah, pretty much all of his comments since he became a politician have been political, but trying to analyze someone based entirely on statements that they're making specifically to create political outcomes is slippery as shit. How do you gauge how much of it is honest and how much of it is performance? You're going to find it an uphill battle trying to convince me that psychoanalyzing someone's public persona is going to yield reliable enough results that we should go ahead and accept that he's mentally ill and impeach a sitting president.

Congrats, but for all I know you could be hard working and studious but generally inept and of mediocre intelligence. I'm not saying this to be insulting, I've just known a lot of people with relatively impressive education credentials who were, ultimately, not very bright. Citing that you've gone to school doesn't convince me that you're qualified to make this assessment.

When I said specifics, I meant specific reasons that you believe that Trump's crazy. Show me that unbiased analysis.

but trying to analyze someone based entirely on statements that they're making specifically to create political outcomes is slippery as shit.
Maybe, but I dont see the relevance of that to the analysis of certain concepts of communication, like the ability to finish a thought without leaping to another topic first, or the insisyence upon clear falsities as truth, or the degeneration of the man's vocabulary. These aren't necessarily fatal flaws right now in and of themselves, but they form part of a cluster of symptoms that is troubling.

The deleted emails were not all under subpoena; the vast majority were not. And the ones that seemed to be work related were not relevant, and deemed by the investigators. But a guy like you can just craft his own little fantasyland, where all the facts he likes are facts, and the ones he doesnt like are lies that everyone has invented just to avoid your brilliant theories. How would you know they were not relevant?

but trying to analyze someone based entirely on statements that they're making specifically to create political outcomes is slippery as shit.

See, it's little things like the insistence of clear falsities of truth that make me real dubious of these analyses. What constitutes a "clear" falsity in politics? And when someone, say, running for office, decides to twist a past quote to make it seem as though they had told the truth, or perhaps decides to stand by a highly disputed statement that is called a lie by his political opposition, is that a sign that he is mentally unable to part with his narrative despite evidence, or is it evidence that he doesn't want to be branded as a liar while he's running for president?

The degeneration of his vocabulary is another one that I find questionable. I thought his vocabulary was shitty from the get-go, and his constant exaggerations and cartoonish level of sensationalism renders a lot of his statements sloppy and inaccurate, but I can't say I've noticed much regression at any point. Even then, how much of it is genuine and how much of it is aimed at hyping up the widest possible swath of his base by intentionally dumbing shit down?

That's why I find it ridiculous to try and analyze someone based on their public/political persona. Truth, lies, and opinion aren't as cut and dry as we'd like them to be when discussing things as complex as macro economics or things as controversial as climate change, or arguing over conflicting data sources. More importantly, public and political personas are largely performances, so without time actually observing the subject when they're out of the spotlight, I don't see how you can reliably assess how much of what you're seeing is genuine and how much is the façade.

Oh stop, you're doing a little dance for Trump, now.

"Biggest inauguration crowd ever"

Is that politics? No, it's simply objectively and obviously false. And if you can't quickly rattle off several similar examples a by yourself, then you havent been paying attention.

'No I don't hate Trump...I have always refused to accept election results, foamed at the mouth, defended proven criminals, repeated fake news supported by zero evidence, and thought anyone who opposes the liberal agenda is nuts'...

Only person I see foaming at the mouth is you, Sleazy.

You are on here every day defending a nut by saying, "but, but, but, Hillary was a bitch who got more votes than my guy."

The guy is a textbook case. His entire worldview is seen on how it effects him.
