It's a straightforward question. Does the object of fear matter? If you can't answer it, that would not be at all surprising.
Yes, the object of the fear matters. Not all fears are equal. Rational fears are based on real or plausible dangers. Irrational ones aren't. A healthy adults can tell the difference.
