Exactly! Words do have meaning - and the left keeps trying to change that reality. The “general welfare” explicitly applies to the 18 enumerated powers of the federal government and nothing more.

Since providing food isn’t an enumerated power of the federal government, one cannot declare “but....but....but....the constitution says ‘provide for the General Welfare’ so we can do this”.
