Another Hero You've Never Heard Of.

How's this for an historical item, the US never built the bomb, the materials needed were sent to the USSR and they built quite a number and sent three to the US. One was used at Trinity and the other two on Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

So.....ya' down wit Major Jordan's thesis?

Only when the American historical community accepts the thesis; until then it goes into the nonsense trash with all the other ideas like the sun revolves about the Earth.

So very easy to be a Liberal, isn't it.

So very easy to be a Liberal, isn't it.

Yep, specially when facts and history are on one's side.

The fact is that FDR's White House reported to Stalin

And did so early on!

1. Hopkins was in on the development of the bomb as early as 1940. It was Hopkins who helped Vannevar Bush draft the letter initiating the research project for Roosevelt's signature, on June 15, 1940.

a. "Vannevar Bush (/væˈniːvɑr/ van-nee-var; March 11, 1890 – June 28, 1974) was an American engineer, inventor and science administrator, whose most important contribution was as head of the U.S. Office of Scientific Research and Development (OSRD) during World War II, through which almost all wartime military R&D was carried out, including initiation and early administration of the Manhattan Project."
Vannevar Bush - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

b. "The first time that Truman found out about the bomb was about 12 days after he became President (late April, 1945). Stimson had mentioned the weapon to him before, but about April 25th, Stimson sat down and explained in some detail exactly what this weapon was all about that was being developed out in New Mexico." Walter LaFeber, Historian . Truman . WGBH American Experience | PBS

Imagine....Stalin knew before Harry Truman did.

It is utterly amazing the level of treason committed by leftists in FDR's administration and amazingly, few Americans know of this treachery. Many when confronted with the truth, refuse to believe it and condemn the truth teller.

Is it any wonder government lead by power hungry corrupt elitists can do whatever they want? They know they can fool most of the people most of the time.

To believe FDR was a great president, is admit you are a fool.

Years from now we will find out the truth about the amazing level of corruption and lawlessness in the current administration...and even then, many will refuse to accept the truth. So many dupes...

Hard to believe that all those historians since 1948 are so foolish as to believe that FDR was a great president, especially when here on the boards can be found the real historical truth.

No it is not hard to believe when you consider that those historians are leftists and statists. As such, they forgive, cover up, and even commend the actions taken by FDR and those commie traitors that surrounded him.

It is akin to much of the news media we have today. They are leftists and statists, and as such, fail to report and cover up the many illegal and fraudulent activities of the current administration.

Take for example the movie coming out about BJ Bubba's wife. They will make her out to be a great honest hard working politician and ignore the numerous controversial actions taken by her.

It has been going on for a long long time and has duped many.

The historians were and are the Communists McCarthy warned us about, so of course they're going to tell us to worship their dupe FDR

What is the MOTIVE for OUR LEADERS giving the USSR the bomb?

Do we have a proposed motive for this conspiracy?

Or did they just do it because they're bad people who (despite the fact that they LEAD America) they hate America?!

WHY WHY WHY did they do this?

1. Here is the plus side:
( from “The Hundred Days of FDR”, by Schlesinger)
"Who can now imagine a day when America offered no Social Security, no unemployment compensation, no food stamps, no Federal guarantee of bank deposits, no Federal supervision of the stock market, no Federal protection for collective bargaining, no Federal standards for wages and hours, no Federal support for farm prices or rural electrification, no Federal refinancing for farm and home mortgages, no Federal commitment to high employment or to equal opportunity - in short, no Federal responsibility for Americans who found themselves, through no fault of their own, in economic or social distress?"
The 'Hundred Days' of F.D.R.

2. What you overlook is the cost:
Korean War, China handed over to Mao, Eastern Europe, $17 trillion in debt.....largely due to FDR's domestic policies......

.....and the destruction of the Constitution and America as it was designed by the Founders.

Weigh the two.

Great question.

Great answer right here:

Convergence?

Pretty thin gruel given how thick the charge of treason is, PC.

I don't buy it.

It's actually preposterous.

You didn't really think that I expected you to accept Dunn's thesis, did you?

I recognize how imbued you are with Leftist doctrine.

But, my role here is education.

You don't have to change, or agree with me. I can't force you to be right.

Well then, could you please give us your opinion as to why FDR chose to be Stalin's stooge?

Russia, nearly defeated itself and cash strapped by the war didn't rise to global dominance so quickly without help.

Of course, now it all makes sense, the historians are communists. So what about the rest of the university professors, does that mean they too are commies? Spooky, America went communistic with FDR, aided and abetted by the historians.

Weigh the two.

The two would be the same as the misery spawned by capitalist greed and over production.
Hell Lincoln ruined the Constitution and how it was written, to allow slavery.

1. Actually, the 3/5 reference in the Constitution was designed to set the stage for the abolition of slavery.
Without it, the South would have a tremendous advantage in the House of Representatives.

2.Capitalism....

a. Oscar Wilde: “Under socialism…there will be no people living in fetid dens and fetid rags, and bringing up unhealthy, hunger pinched children in the midst of impossible and absolutely repulsive surroundings…Each member of society will share in the general prosperity and happiness of the society…”

b. Marxism rested on the assumption that the condition of the working classes would grow ever worse under capitalism, that there would be but two classes: one small and rich, the other vast and increasingly impoverished, and revolution would be the anodyne that would result in the “common good.” But by the early 20th century, it was clear that this assumption was completely wrong! Under capitalism, the standard of living of all was improving: prices falling, incomes rising, health and sanitation improving, lengthening of life spans, diets becoming more varied, the new jobs created in industry paid more than most could make in agriculture, housing improved, and middle class industrialists and business owners displaced nobility and gentry as heroes.

c. These economic advances continued throughout the period of the rise of socialist ideology. The poor didn’t get poorer because the rich were getting richer (a familiar socialist refrain even today) as the socialists had predicted. Instead, the underlying reality was that capitalism had created the first societies in history in which living standards were rising in all sectors of society.
From a speech by Rev. Robert A. Sirico, President, Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty.
Delivered at Hillsdale College, October 27, 2006

I'm looking forward to your erudite rebuttal of the above.

I just said that to be funny.
