AOC Gives Her Definition of Capitalism

Dingbat AOC tells us all what her definition of Capitalism is in an interview with Yahoo Finance. Here is the key quote: "So to me, capitalism, at its core, what we're talking about when we talk about that is the absolute pursuit of profit at all human, environmental, and social cost."


There are so many things I could say in response to this quote but I will it to you. Discuss.

That is such an irresponsible statement replete with class and social warfare. Profit is not necessarily evil. Wealthy elite liberals like herself enjoy profit like the next guy and gal. The difference is her livelihood and personal “profit” is contingent on voters with sustained bitterness and economic envy when it comes to profit. Conversely, I look out for the politicians who believe economic independence and pursuit of opportunity are good things for the American People. Equality in Economic Opportunity must be pursued, not Equality in Economic Outcome….. that’s Socialism.

Nothing created or done by human beings is perfect. If the desire is to pick apart any human construct such as capitalism or representative government, knock yourself out AOC.

But now the hard part is to come up with a better more perfect system. The Communists tried it. That system led to 100,000,0000 million people murdered in the 20th Century alone, plus a huge amount of general suffering and misery.

That’s the core problem I have with an economy that his more Socialist than Capitalist. The Middle Class is eroded if not eliminated, not only does a 1 percent still exist but it is locked-in with an elite ruling it all. And, economic inequality still exists. The only Capitalism exercised at that point is done by the elite.

For all of the people screaming about income inequality that exists in America, why is America the top destination for immigrants? They are fully aware of the income inequality but they are motivated by a comparatively more equal economic opportunity vs. any other country in the world.

You are looking only at the extreme end. Yes some use capitalism as you stated. Which is why we have regulations. Now the degree of regulation is always a subject of debate. Speaking for myself I use what I call the FFH rules, Force, Fraud, Health in regards to government regulation.

Better than most. What do most people think capitalism? They think little more than “not communism” or “freedom”. They really don’t think through this more than the superficial level that American indoctrination has provided.
