Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but the only way Sullivan can be removed from the bench is via Impeachment that requires a 2/3 vote in the Senate. And I doubt that s going to happen.

You're wrong. Impeachment requires 51% vote in Nancy Pelosi's Democratic House of Representatives. Conviction and removal requires 2/3 vote in the Senate. He should be but will never be impeached or removed.

Really? Got any links for that? Because there's no such thing in the Federal system. States have those but not the Federal Courts. It might be argued that Congress could create a non-impeachment based measure of good-behavior for judges but they have never done so. The only way a federal judge can be removed today is by impeachment in the House and conviction in the Senate.

I hope you're both right. The problem is, Sullivan had no grounds for not immediately complying with the request from the DOJ but he fought it with the most bizarre legal games ever seen in a criminal case - asking for public opinion on the case. Sullivan is a political puppet and not at all concerned with the constitutionality of his rulings.
