It's been a stalemate for over a year now, and the money we have thrown in is at best right now continuing the stalemate. That's it.

I don't think any peace deal now will settle it, just move the fighting further down the years.

Ukraine wants Donbas and Crimea back, Russia doesn't want to give them back.

Any peace right now would be an armistice for 5-10 years at best.

I think the Military-Industrial Complex - better known today as the Deep State - is doing everything it can to convince everyone connected to NATO to believe that a nuclear war is perhaps inevitable and therefore necessary to spend, spend, spend on armament. But do they really want a nuclear war with Russia? I doubt it because I can't see how the aftermath of such a war can enrich the Deep State. The reason the Democrats are spoken in the same sentence is because their asses are spread-cheeked to the Deep State and those Republicans who are so inclined are being weeded out one by one.
