Isn't that pretty much the definition of the modern American Presidency? After all you have to be a narcissistic, egomaniac to run for the office in the first place.

It's too bad Henry VIII isn't around today since I'm sure his reaction to most of the Presidents in the Modern Age would have been "Holy shit! and they used to call ME power drunk?"
