If there was ever any legitimate opposition to this it was soon swamped with some very ugly language from some very ugly people. What people dont understand is that before Obama these issues arose all the time. But you never heard about them. Why? Because the institution would apply for a waiver on religious grounds and the feds would grant it and that was the end.
But under Obama there are few religious waivers ever given. So everything becomes a court fight. Because they know they have more money and time than the instiutution.

The first amendment protects freedom FROM religion as well as freedom OF religion. You can't have one without the other. If you don't believe it, you have no argument when someone wants to institute sharia law.
