A runaway Australian teen, believed to be fighting with Islamic State (ISIS) militants in Iraq or Syria, threatened western leaders in a new video released by the group.
The fresh-faced teen, believed to be 17 year-old Abdullah Elmir, is seen brandishing a rifle and standing among dozens of ISIS members.
According to local reports, Elmir, who now goes by the nom de guerre "Abu Khaled from Australia", ran away from his Sydney home in June.
In the video, the Australian directs his message at countries taking part in coalition airstrikes against the extremist militants in Iraq and Syria. Elmir, who is among hundreds of foreigners believed to be fighting with the group, said ISIS will not stop until the group's black flag is atop Buckingham Palace and the White House.
