Bachmann won't seek another term! Thank you, Jay-a-zus!!!

A few Teabaggers DID win in 2008 in the primary, only to lose in the general. (Murdoch, Akin), but it wasn't due to Republicans cleaning house.

Yup, you made the claim so you fail until you support it.

Uh, actually . . . Murdoch and Akin ran in 2012 and Republicans were the deciding factor in their defeat.

Guy, it's not my job to prove a negative.

If sensible, moderate Republicans were able to unseat a crazy teabagger, then you should be able to provide an example of that happening.

If it ever did.

The GOP tent is not big enough to include reactionaries other than letting them vote.

Frankly, maybe the GOP ought to let a real hard core conservative win instead of a guy like Romney or McCain who wants to be loved by the beltway establishment.

You made the claim, JoeB, you own it. That's how it is played here. Snap to it, sonny.

And, thank you for admitting your error on Mordoosh and Akbutt.

I'd bet she's quitting because she's lined up something at Fox News or something else in the conservative media to make some real money.

She'll fit right in at Faux News - they can fill the position Palin vacated with Bachmann, they're about the same, not so bright and make a lot of noise.

Oh, please.

She got some internal polling that her support was dwindling, money was drying up, the Feds are taking a close look at her campaign financing...

She knew she was done. She's just leaving on her own terms.
Well THERE'S a real fast BACK PEDDLE.

But no, she has released a video giving the reasons for her leaving, and clearly she states that she believes 8 years is enough, for herself and EVERYONE ELSE. She is trying to set an example.

"The conservative lawmaker also made it clear that her decision not to run had nothing to do with the ongoing ethics investigation about alleged misconduct during her failed presidential campaign in 2012."

Truthiness?
Given Bachmann's history of lying her ass off, I'm guessing that whatever it is that Bachmann cited as the reason for quitting is exactly the opposite of why she says she's quitting.
.

Well of course!

If Liberals were "sheeple" and all would give up variety to watch fantasy, we probably would be #1, but that's the thing about Libs, they like to watch different stations, they're not glued to one station 24/7.

Michele Bachmann, suggesting at a presidential campaign event in Florida that the 2011 East Coast earthquake and hurricane was a message from God (Aug. 2011)

2. "Well what I want them to know is just like, John Wayne was from Waterloo, Iowa. That's the kind of spirit that I have, too" -Rep. Michele Bachmann, getting her John Waynes mixed up during an interview after launching her presidential campaign in Waterloo, Iowa, where she grew up.
