The USA was basically a "randian society" until about 1930. Yes, there were problems with that, labor laws were needed--now we have them. But the fact remains that that period of time and that freedom was what made this nation the greatest in the history of the world-----small government, individual freedom, free markets, individual responsibility and accountability, low taxes, innovation, experimentation. FREEDOM. It works!
