Sales and Property taxes are what keep the cities and States going. And these are paid by all.

He wasn't saying volunteer...he was referring to a simple % of income system.
Tithing is giving a percent of income, whatever that is.
He is suggesting a similar system...you make between $xx - $xxx - you pay x%.
It makes perfect sense.

I have zero problem paying taxes, what I have a problem with is the corrupt and gross negligence in how the government spends that money.

I have plenty of problems with paying taxes. It often adds to the cost of living which means you and I have less to spend or save. Every single tax, just not the income tax, should be drastically lowered and no party wants to do that.

I would assume you don't actually mean no taxes, if so - then you are not taking your meds.
Taxes are a necessity, there are some things that only a government can do.
The problem with how high taxes are, is not in the collection, but the spending. Reduce spending to reduce taxation...shrink the government...reduice taxation.
