And now for left loon lie #2Q. Whats the total number of Sanders and Biden Vietnam deferments?
Really? Don't you read anything? This is why the crooked politicians pull lies all of the time because you don't read.
.
That it would only apply if Sanders had an (R) next to his name?
Seriously you want a link for that?
No ..sorry I am looking for the draft dodging poster...
Well Sanders never did serve in the military..
Sanders was eligible for student deferments until at least 1964, when he graduated from the University of Chicago. By the time his number came up, Sanders was too old to be drafted.
The draft, prior to the institution of the draft lottery in 1969, was as corrupt and arbitrary a system as could be invented.
Just like Bill Clinton you could call Bernie a Draft evader..
This is what Sanders did. He filed a petition to be classified I-O, conscientious objector. By the time he was interviewed and the final disapproval issued by his draft board, he was out of danger. This is how the draft is dodged.
I need a legit link for that please
Biden has 5 all by himself
and baby bush's daddy got him into the national guard which, unlike now, almost never deployed to Vietnam.
your point?
In 1999, Ben Barnes, former Democratic Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives and Lieutenant Governor of Texas, gave testimony in a deposition for a lawsuit related to the Texas lottery; and following the deposition, his lawyer issued a statement to the press. According to the statement, Barnes had called the head of the Texas Air National Guard,Brigadier General James Rose, to recommend Bush for a pilot spot at the request of Bush family friend Sidney Adger. The statement also said, "Neither Congressman Bush nor any other member of the Bush family asked Barnes' help. Barnes has no knowledge that Governor Bush or President Bush knew of Barnes' recommendation."[9]
Now stop making a fool of yourself.
