Exchange rate to $ is 1.27, so £6.81 x $1.27 = $8.65 per US gallon.

I've seen it as high as £1.919 per litre a couple of weeks back on a motorway services.

That's not possible. It took Biden over a year to get my local gas price from $1.7 under President Trump, to $4.89.

Gas Buddy report $4.17 - $4.19 here in Jackson, TN. That does not take into account large discounts found from some large store retailers, like Kroger, with patronage cards, attracting customers to their store with discounts for patronage.

TN is a red state.
Blue states are paying much more.
