Biden is solving his huge immigration back log by just cancelling their court appearances. Since 2022, 350,000 migrants are neither granted asylum or deportation orders but they are not scheduled for a court appearance either giving them a defacto amnesty.

I wonder if he can manage to do that for all 8 to 10 million he has allowed in since January 2021?

That will make it far more difficult for President Trump to deal with the migrants already here unless he has a strong GOP majority who can and will put some serious teeth into the law.

Actually it makes deportation easier since they don't have an active court date to fall back on. The invaders call the document notifying of a court date Permisos. To them it's a permission slip that they have a right to be here until that date.

I bet nobody took those away from any migrant. There has been no suggestion from the Administration they intend to ask anybody to leave. Hence a defacto amnesty.

But the good news in the 'fight their fire with their fire' department, Trump can simply cancel ALL the court dates established and advise the migrants that since they don't have one, they must go home and apply again through proper channels if they want to. They have 10 days to leave voluntarily and, if they do not, they will be subject to arrest and deportation to somewhere. If they come back illegally, they will be arrested, deported, and banned from ever applying for legal residence here.
