It had a negative effect on the morale of the Afghan Army watching the Americans enjoying a truce while they evacuated. So when he took office his choice was either re-invade to force compliance on the Taliban, killing lots of American kids, or make the best of the truce and Skedaddle like Trump.

By withdrawing the US forces he pretty much surrendered the US defense of the nation and let the security forces of Afghanistan allied with us that we were not going to help support them, which in effect cause them to surrender their forces and territory to the Taliban. I thought the GOP claimed we don't negotiate with terrorists yet that is what Trump did do.

This is all but useless. The US had very little engagement in the months preceding the pullout and no one claimed local forces were not still fighting. We left those forces with no intel capability, under the outright lie to the American people that they would not fall instantly which we damn well knew would happen without out intel, did not pull out those TCNs that were integral in helping our forces instead opting for them to be tortured and killed by the Taliban and we did not even bother to control the fucking airport we flew out of.
