Biden wants to defend democracy by making sure you can’t vote for Trump

I'm going to have to get my Biden doll out, and start poking needles in it again!

The headline is accurate. To protect democracy, Trump must be barred from office.

You seem so surprised. Welcome to normal world.

And what is a constitutional republic, my undereducated friend?

For someone who doesn't know how to use Google, how dare someone as dumb as you refer to anything but another doorknob as being uneducated:

A constitutional republic means that it is one in which, rather than directly governing, the people select some of their members to temporarily serve in political office.

A republic style of gov't where the constitution is the supreme law of the land.

It's a Democracy.

Denying that is low key fascism.

''Democracy'' and ''a Democracy'' are antithetical.

Unfortunately, people equate the two as if they mean the same.

They don't.

"A Democracy'' is a form of government. It is a form of government that is antithetical to ''a Republic.''

"A Republic'' also being a form of government.

"Democracy'' is a popular type of governance and is a highlight of a Republican form of government.

"A Democracy'' is antithetical to ''a Republic.''

This has been thoroughly explained around here a guh zillion times...

I think that you're in dire need of re-education if you do not understand why you are wrong. Respectfuly speaking.

This is fundamental stuff.

"A Democracy'' is antithetical to ''democracy.''

"A Democracy'' is a form of government whereby rule by omnipotent Majority is the central model. This is true whether it be ''A Direct Democracy'' or ''A Representative Democracy.''

''Democracy'' iself is an aspect of ''A Republic.''

"A Republic'' is antithetical to ''''A Democracy'' because ''a Democracy'' is antithetical and repugnant to ''democracy.''

End of discussion...

The standards for impeachment do not require criminal activity.

The claim was, he was a criminal.

He is not.
So you don't think that Biden was aware of and profited from the illegal activities of his son hunter? Wouldn't that make Joe Biden a criminal?

The republic we live in relies on democracy to fill the offices of government. Nobody has argued that this is a direct democracy.

You are attempting to draw a distinction that is purely academic in nature as well as totally irrelevant to the discussion.

The USA is a Democracy. A Representative Democracy. Has been for well over 200 years at this point.

Your average uninformed republicans don't like to say that because of the names of the parties. They want it to be a republic because "republicans" not Democrats. It really is just that simple for some of these folks.

The more informed republicans, rare though they are, say it because it gives them an excuse for minority rule to be "normal" and to disenfranchise voters they dislike.

Oh but he's so smart he says America is BOTH a republic and a democracy.

He's so smart he's dumb as fuck.

Precisely. Thats what I said.

To repeat: "Democracy'' itself is an aspect of ''a Republic.''

Nobody has argued that this is a direct democracy.

That doesn't mean that it isn't worth noting that rule by omnipotent Majority is central to both ''a Direct Democracy'' and ''a Representative Democracy.''

In fact, it's important to do so in order to cut the authoritarians off at the pass before they try to spin ''our Republic'' into ''our Democracy.''

"A democracy'' in either form, is antithetical to ''a Republic''

You are attempting to draw a distinction that is purely academic in nature as well as totally irrelevant to the discussion.

Perhaps it is the discussion that is irrelevant to the facts.

It seems to me that this is often the case, unfortunately.

The USA is a Democracy. A Representative Democracy. Has been for well over 200 years at this point.

No it isn't. Technically speaking, America is a compound Republic. See Federalist # 51. For starters...

Wow you actually did a little bit of research. I am impressed, I had the impression you were a lazy uneducated little left-wing bitch socialist who cared little about this country and the rule of law. You need to do quite a bit more work to prove me wrong that's for sure.

Dude, I don't bother to have an intelligent conversation with you because you have proven over and over that you have no intelligence to converse with.

Get lost.

Hahaha, that's how you react to being proven wrong LOL. Typical Democrat

So you don't think that Biden was aware of and profited from the illegal activities of his son hunter?

1. What I think is irrelevant, it is what the prosecutors can prove to the jury that is important.

2. Did Joe know Hunter had illegal possession of a gun and cheated on his taxes?

I have no idea.

Wouldn't that make Joe Biden a criminal?
I can't speculate a strawman.

Do you have proof Joe knew of the above crimes?
