What he's been doing lately is trying to redefine clasical liberalism.

As a liberal myself, meaning a real liberal, therefore a traditional conservative, I detest having to accept an adjective just to placate the ignorance of the electorate with regard to what conservatism actually means. But what I hate worse is a statists snake like Krystol trying to jump on our bandwagon and redefining it for his own statist purpose.
