While blacks have never had an easy time in the US, I don't remember the US Army raiding black villages, slaughtering women and children - using rifle butts to crush their skulls to save money on bullets, rounding them up, putting them on box cars, shipping them off to the most god-forsaken land the govt could find, sticking them on reservations, feeding them rancid meat, marching them to new land while they drop dead along the way (Trail of Tears), or - for a time - made it legal for whites to simply kill them like the country did with Native Americans.

Blacks have long mixed religion with sports now they are going political.....I really do not most sports fans like to see personal demonstrations(including personal celebrtions that blacks carry to excessive levels like a bunch of monkeys)religion or politics injected into the game.

I, having spent my life in the military and continue to do so am not completely 'enthused' about ANYONE choosing the national anthem to protest something going on in this country. There are other ways to do so without protesting the national anthem or flag whish is a symbol to me of the sacrifice that has been made and continues to be made to make and keep this nation free. That, however, is just me...speaking for ME.

Although I am not 'cool' with it, that doesn't matter - I have spent a lifetime ensuring CK and others get to do what they are doing.
