Prior to being mayor she chaired the Police Accountabilty Task Force and, since this began, has tossed CPD under the bus and stood by and watched them take abuse after abuse.

By placating the mob, she has emboldened it and allowed it to grow, while CPD is taking a beating and is likely slowing things down so as not to end up a scapegoat, so criminals see an opening and are taking it. As a result crime is spiking.

She blames guns, she blames trump, she blames systemic racism and anything else she can think of. The fact is, none of those things explains a sudden rise in violence. Her policies have made this worse and will continue to do so. Very little doubt about it.
