Border Crossings DOWN

Chances are border crossing would have gone down even further if Trump had decided not to kill the border bill in order to enhance Trump's own political fortunes at the expense of the nation.

They probably have applications in at Trump businesses.
Probably, not....the Xiden admin has been handing them out free stuff, they aren't here to actually work
A Kamala Harris presidency would be great news for illegal immigrants

Harris is to the left of Biden in many areas, especially immigration. During her 2020 presidential bid, Harris, a “Medicare for all” backer, supported free, taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal immigrants. Compare that to Biden, who wanted to let illegal immigrants purchase an unsubsidized public option healthcare plan. Both are bad ideas, but at least Biden opposed giving free health insurance plans to illegal immigrants.

Harris also ran on decriminalizing illegal border crossings, something that even Biden opposes. Harris said “an undocumented immigrant is not a criminal” during her tenure as California attorney general in 2015.

So Harris not only wanted more government handouts for illegal immigrants, but she also wanted to reduce the penalty for people entering the country illegally to a civil offense rather than a criminal one.

Down by half at a time when they normally surge

Looks like Biden’s doing a pretty good job
Trump has embarrassed the Democrats into taking partial measures, even if they are for show. Do you people doubt for a second if the election is stolen for Kamala, that all restrictions to illegals coming in will be removed?

12-24-2023:

In just five days last week, Border Patrol processed nearly 50,000 migrants who entered the U.S. illegally, with daily apprehensions surpassing 10,000 thrice, up from the 6,400 average last month, according to federal data obtained by CBS News. Roughly 1,500 additional migrants are being processed each day at official border crossings under a Biden program powered by a phone app.

So... who gets the blame for this -- Biden or Harris?

Washington Examiner? Moonies?

Kamala Harris was a successful prosecutor. She helped California enforce laws.

El Paso, Texas Illegal crossings along the U.S.-Mexico border in May are down by more than 50% compared to the record highs reported in December, giving the Biden administration an unexpected reprieve during a time when migration has historically surged, according to internal government data obtained by CBS News.

During the first 21 days of May, U.S. Border Patrol agents recorded a daily average of approximately 3,700 apprehensions of migrants between official ports of entry. That represents a 54% decrease from the 8,000 daily average in December, when illegal entries soared to a quarter of a million, an all-time high.

May is also on track to see the third consecutive month-over-month drop in unlawful border crossings, the preliminary U.S. Department of Homeland Security statistics show. In March and April, illegal crossings along the southern border dropped to 137,000 and 129,000, respectively, according to public government data. If the trend continues, Border Patrol is on pace to record between 110,000 and 120,000 apprehensions in May.
