Well, I don't know what your point is and I am really not interested in the finer points of Baptists or whatever. MY point is that the kid was tomented over feeling and desires that are normal for his age. This sexual purity crap was drill into and he is clearly conflicted and torn between the religious teaching and his sexual need. He snapped, plain and simple. Religion id to blame

How do you know he was torn between his religious teaching and sexual needs? Was Weinstein and Weiner when they said they were sex addicts?

I think he was tormented over his addiction...that much is clear...but I have seen nothing to suggest his religious faith, or his upbringing had anything to do with that...addiction is just addiction...and someone isn't necessarily going to be an addict because of their religious faith.

This just appears to be another attempt by the left, after the racism narrative got debunked, to drive another wedge and spread division....

Basically, he was taught that his normal sex drive was a sex addiction and felt guilty about it. He was a "sinner" desparatly trying to tamp down his sexual needs BECAUSE OF THE EXTREME RELIGIOUS TEACHINGS

Read the damed articles that I posted. There is clear and convincing evidence that relegion played a major role. I really don't care if you choose to ignore that.

No there is no evidence to suggest that...yahoo and salon are making assumptions based on the fact that he once went to a church, that is bapitist....and they are making that assumption based on some studies...but they know nothing about the individual....and this is a fall back position after salon and yahoo's racism narrative fell apart

No they did not speak to him, but you seem to be unwilling or unable to accept the possability they they are right about him. In fact you seem desperate to prove that it is "just an addiction"

I am open to the idea that it's pure speculation...so it's possible...but as I said...it's pure speculation at this point. I have seen no evidence to support it

I am also not at all surprised to see Salon go to it...since the racism narrative was debunked, they had to go to some other divisive narrative to speculate on.
