...HOWEVER, there is 1 American who has been held for 9 years NOT part of the deal.

The Iranians have agreed to INQUIRE about the whereabouts of the 4th American. As he has been missing, and guaranteed to have been tortured, and Iran 'does not know where he is, my guess is he is dead and has been for a while.
