So the House has passed a bill that will give the 800,000 laid off works back pay for the their missed time and the Senate and the President said they would sign off on this bill, what is the sense of not having them at work? Bring them back to work to justify their pay as opposed to giving them a pay check for doing nothing. Why should these worked get an extended paid vacation?

No dummy. You asked why they should get paid. The GOP does not want to look like assholes...so they voted to pay workers.

If the fact that these workers were going to be unpaid was not public knowledge, the GOP nutters would never have voted to pay them. You know that, don't you.
