I'm Muslim and I respect all my Muslim sister's decision to wear no hijab, hijab or choose to wear the face veil. But she was in the wrong with this one.

Even the most conservative scholars who deem the niqab (face veil) to be obligatory say that it is permissible to remove the veil for security reasons.

The guy in the store clearly stated why he wanted her to remove it, which was for security reasons. She should have just removed the face veil.
