Bush: "I had to become a Socialist to save the country"

So there is a time limit of how long democrats get a mulligan on it?

Really?

You just said Dems had it for half a year, after previously hinting they wern't there at all.

Which is it?

Or is there yet a third yardstick you will introduce.

I also like how you took an article about free market principles and Bush, and turned it into finger pointing of democrats..

Are you bipolar? When did I say democrats weren't there at all?

Also, I like how you dodged the question. You blame current economy on democrats 2006 win. So explain to all of us what legislation passed when democrats took over in January led to the recession in July?
You continue to have trouble with understanding the written word, I have noticed this quite a bit with you now.

I didn't 'blame' anything, i pointed out a pertinent fact.

When exactly will you EVER take responsibilty for the actions of democrats?

You remind me of Barney Frank blaming everyone but himself (when it was his job) that this happened.

If you people don't see what Bush is doing, I'm genuinely amused at your short-sightedness.

Over the last two months, he's been positioning himself with the Democrats. Not because he wants to change his legacy or go out on a good note, but because in four years, a Republican will challenge Obama. And the Republicans will want to run someone who is as far away from Bush is possible. Bush is calling for bailouts and siding with Pelosi and Reid to socialize every aspect of the economy he can, just to make Democrats look bad.

If you didn't see that, I don't really know what else to say...

Here is what you said. Explain how this is factual.. What did the democrats do that led to the recession?
This is again a perfect example of yoiu not understanding.

It says that we had a recession and that democrats are now in charge.

Do you dispute it?

Really?

Yes, but you tried to fault the recession on democrats alone. The fact you tried to blame one party clearly displays your partisan and simple minded ways..

Face it, you stuck your foot in your mouth.. What took you so long to respond was google down?

No, you ASSUMED that.

The fact you tried to blame one party clearly displays your partisan and simple minded ways..
I love how what I do continues to wizz right over your head.

The part with you calling someone else 'partisan' and 'simple minded' is priceless.

Face it, you repeated some talking points that you didn't fully understand.

After spending a half an hour on google trying to backup your baseless claim, you realize you messed up. Therefore you come back and try to play verbal gymnastics to wiggle your way out of the hole you just dug..

Face it, when the recession began the democrats were in power in both houses, no matter how much you cry it won't change.

It appears you actually believe I 'googled' something!

You are indeed a delight!

This is right up there with, "we had to destroy the village in order to save it."

What has happened is that when capitalism is allowed to operate without regulation it will eat itself.

Economy was great up to two years ago.

What happened then?

Oh yes, the democrats took over both houses.

Now they have all three branches and we are nearing a Great depression.

Confusion of happenstance with causation there.

If you weren't such a spinning hack, you'd know that very few people desire or approve of an unregulated free market economy. Only those who would profit by it do, and they are a small minority made up of both liberals and conservatives.

Just another attempt by you to claim something that isn't true by saying wanting less restrictions than more is wanting none.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Gunny again.

This is hilarious.

A free marketer believes the market can only properly correct on its own.

You don't just decide all the sudden one day that you need to abandon free market principles to "save the free market".

ANY ONE OF YOU who buys this bullshit is a fucking moron. A god damn fucking MORON.

It's probably true, in theory, that a free market will correct itself. The question is, can a society - any society - that runs a free market economy recover from the depths plumbed when a real life free market economy corrects itself?
