For example there is a book called "First into Nagasaki" (2006 Crown Publishers) by Pulitzer Prize correspondent George Weller. Weller conned his way into Nagasaki shortly after the Japanese surrender and wrote several dispatches about the Atomic devistation as well as interviews with former Allied and American POW's.
