Fact checkers are advocates for the truth, and they are at liberty to edit content as they see fit, such as rightwing hate speech, fake news, misinformation, and lies.
And it has nothing to do with ‘disliking’ conservative speech; it has to do with opposing rightwing lies and misinformation.
It’s perfectly appropriate and warranted for private media such as FB to edit out the false, misleading information and lies conservatives propagate – where such editing in no manner shuts down speech.
