Capitalism

So does one think capitalism is best for the human race?
you got a better idea? I doubt it, the problem with capitalism is that it creates so much more wealth than any other economic model, which if left unchecked or mismanaged leads to corruption and inequalities. The problem is not capitalism but shit government that is supposed to prevent or reduce injustices.

They laughed at me a few years ago when i posted how capitalism works. It requires growth to work. Greed run capitalism requires big growth.
Prices double every 200 years
Prices double every 100 years
prices double every 50 years
prices double every 25 years
Prices double every 12-13 years--we are here
prices double every 6 years= disaster
prices double every 3 years- the ultra rich become slave masters of 99% on earth. They are rushing us to this.

do you have something better in mind??

capitalism has brought more people out of poverty than any system known to man,,

youre mistake is youre talking about government controlled cronyism not true free market capitalism,,

Wrong.
Humans lived comparable utopia before capitalism.
The hunter/gatherer society is far simpler, easier, and requires less than 2 hours a day, compared to the 10 hours a day we put in.
The main thing primitives did was art, travel, telling stories, etc.
When you want to find the oldest living humans, you do not look in cities, but rural, primitive areas.
Jesus dude - you wanna go back and live in a grass hut and die at 35? Go for it.
The average age in 1400s Europe was 50. Today it is 83.

Hilarious fail.

You're describing late stage capitalism.

Leftists have been screaming about this for decades now, but no one seems to listen...

There seems to be no bottom to corporate greed. It's going to come to a screeching halt at some point.

And none of us will like it when that happens.

So the answer is to go socialist where certain and absolute poverty is the result?
And we are not in late stage capitalism. You can bastardize ANY economic system.
A monopoly is an example of a bastardized "cheat" in capitalism.
BOTH parties in Washington have long ago rubber stamped one monopoly after another since the 1980s.
Corporatism is another bastardized "cheat" that takes advantage of capitalism. Our government is supposed to stop these things from ruining the system.
But they are all a part of it. They are willing participants.

If people work in a socialist system that is complete. If one person is outstanding and another not good, they both are treated the same and protected from the system.

Just one of the inherent failures of socialism.
Look at Sweden. When they were a socialism, poverty was everywhere despite the fact the government was wealthy. They switched to capitalism in 1980, and became one of the richest nations on earth.

By that logic, isn't it possible to bastardize socialism?

the correct example of socialism is Mondragón corporation.

Balance is how things work correctly.

Balance is exactly how capitalism is supposed to work. As a consumer, you have the choice to pay X amount of money for a given product or service and the seller has the choice to set the price he wants. Nobody holds a gun to your head and says you gotta buy whatever it is, and that is true balance. If you think the price is too high you can buy from some other seller at whatever you are willing to pay.
