Only because I'm curious: What is the "Word of God" you think about in this context here? And who for heavens sake is in the bible who was perfect and did never fail? So why do you follow this people - why do you go your way with them into the same direction? Or do you not follow them? You can't go ahead of them - (What is by the way not any disadvantage according to the "Word of God").

Until Martin Luther the catholic cult kept the Bible in Latin so only a select few wealthy people could actually see what the Bible really said. You were put to death for translation of the Bible into a common language.

Catholics have an elite class of leaders that can never be questioned and must be obeyed. Only they are allowed to interpret the Bible.

Many of the teachings of the catholic cult are non Biblical and invented by leaders of the cult. They have a 900 page book on how the Bible is to be interpreted.

By any objective measure, no other institution has done more to shape western civilization than the HRCC.

So... the Church that can trace itself back to the FIRST century --the ONLY Church (or "church") that can--- and was called Catholic (universal) in that same first century (extant writings say: at least by AD 107) is a "cult"!

Meanwhile you have at least 35, 000 other Christian or "christian" communities, all of which came LONG after the first century, and all claim that No, THEY have the truth-- even though they all disagree w/ one another (and the Catholics) on what Truth is..
