MSM fails to report they are getting more meals better fed, better health and education then they had, and obviously better supervision being they have wreckless parents (screw ups) who supervised them to break the law to flee their countries woes(issues) instead of staying to resolve their country's

I don't know a soul who voted for President Trump based on his point of view on immigration. But I know a whole bunch of folks who want the border secured and illegal immigration stopped. President Trump was elected for a vision based on concepts and principles that libertarians (small "L") have been hungry for and haven't gotten for a very long time now. A willingness to get illegal immigration under control and secure our border was just one component of all that.

The WWII internment camps for the "undesirable" Americans held the parents /guardians and their children CONTRARY to your assertion in YOUR OP. Your claim that for hundreds of years it has been that way, children not accompanying their parents during their incarceration, as an absolute fact is false and you are bloody WRONG! You do realize that the courts have ruled that children may not be held in detention centers for more than 72 hours? Or we hold the parents until we can determine if they qualify for refugee status--the huge lion's share of them do not--and obey the law that says the kids can't stay with them after three days.

But you're missing the point that in most cases the parents' only "crime" is that they crossed the border illegally looking for a better life for themselves and their kids. It is true that American citizens who are jailed for crimes do not get to take their kids to jail with them, but that is different situation. In this case, the only "crime" we're talking about is simply trying to sneak across the border.

Now, as I said, if the immigrant parents have committed any other crimes, then, yeah, they should be locked up separately from their kids.

Obama did arrange to house parents and children together in large detention centers once those could be made ready. But when the court ruled the kids couldn't stay there more than 72 hours, he implemented (an illegal) catch and release policy that opened the floodgate to thousands upon thousands of illegals who knew all they had to do was show up with a kid and they were in.

Roughly 50% of new immigrants in the USA in the last decade are due to chain migration.

As for the rest of your rant, I will stand by my post as the best policy for both us and for new legal immigrants and for those who would be here illegally.

What most often happens with a misdemeanor is the accused gets a PR bond. They also get PR bonds for some felonies. It costs big bucks to detain people for minor crimes.

Millions of people are in County jails this minute, unable to bail out. Kids are not there with them. Good grief. Is this whole country going nuts ?
