Mark 15:33 And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.
34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

"For" (as used in Acts 2:38 "for the forgiveness...") could have two
meanings. If you saw a poster saying "Jesse James wanted for

sense is the correct one. So too in this passage, the word "for"
signifies an action in the past. Otherwise, it would violate the
entire tenor of the NT teaching on salvation by grace and not by works.

Gibson followed catholocism and used a book by a crazy mystic for his movie. It would figure you claim him as a source of evidence.

Hey Gibson made a new version of his own last passion of Jesus. Gibson rejects the Catholic church and turns his passion into hatred for the innocents.

See a website instead of scripture? Nice.

This website quotes directly from your NT Gospel. Are you unhappy with the New Testament versions of Jesus Christ? Which New Testament do you think is the REAL TRUE VERSION of the Gospel?

Since when do "all" versions determine reliability? These were taken from edited text that was VOTED upon before inclusion into circulation.

No versions of the NT determine reliability. You are correct that the story of Jesus Christ was voted into inclusion for the then new cult of Jesus Christ and his divinity.

Mark 15: 24 And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.
25 And it was the third hour, and they crucified him. What time of the day is the third hour/

33 And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. What time of the day is the sixty hour or the nineth hour if it was dark over the land? Morning or night time or did the skies get dark because of Christ's crucifixion?

34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Did Jesus need to ask himself why he forsook himself?????

35 And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias.

36 And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.

WAS THAT VINEGAR REALLY SOME COMMON SEDATIVE OF THE DAY WHICH MADE JESUS APPEAR TO BE DEAD TO EVERYONE?

37 And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.
HOLY GHOST

That is 6 hours.

Even six hours is not enough time for a crucified man or woman to die unless they were sedated and appeared to those experts as dead.

They are WRONG.

An you think you are right? I don't think so preacher!!!!

I am humbled and honored you call me "preacher".

AND YOUR POINT?????

Jesus was asking himself for foregiveness on the cross.

The following Bible is supposed to give some sort of credibility to the NT Gospel.

Isaiah 44

18They do not know nor understand;
For He has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see,
And their hearts, so that they cannot understand.
19And no one considers in his heart,
Nor is there knowledge nor understanding to say,
"I have burned half of it in the fire,
Yes, I have also baked bread on its coals;
I have roasted meat and eaten it;
And shall I make the rest of it an abomination?
Shall I fall down before a block of wood?"
20He feeds on ashes;
A deceived heart has turned him aside;
And he cannot deliver his soul,
Nor say, "Is there not a lie in my right hand?"

The wooden cross of the new god Jesus is being prophecied here in Isaiah in case you are asking yourself why I posted this.

You should have kept on going:

1 Corinthians 15:19-21: "If in this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied. But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive."

Proof of time Jesus was on the cross as per New Testaments gospels version. Most of the Gospel versions are at variance with these few hours.

Mark is clear that Jesus was on the cross for six hours:

Mark 15:25-39: "Now it was the third hour, and they crucified Him. And the inscription of His accusation was written above:
THE KING OF THE JEWS.
With Him they also crucified two robbers, one on His right and the other on His left. So the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "And He was numbered with the transgressors."
And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads and saying, "Aha! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself, and come down from the cross!"
Likewise the chief priests also, mocking among themselves with the scribes, said, "He saved others; Himself He cannot save. Let the Christ, the King of Israel, descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe." Even those who were crucified with Him reviled Him.
Now when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" Some of those who stood by, when they heard that, said, "Look, He is calling for Elijah!" Then someone ran and filled a sponge full of sour wine, put it on a reed, and offered it to Him to drink, saying, "Let Him alone; let us see if Elijah will come to take Him down."
And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last.
Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. So when the centurion, who stood opposite Him, saw that He cried out like this and breathed His last, he said, "Truly this Man was the Son of God!"

The third hour to the ninth - six hours. And please note that "breathed his last" means that He died. There is no record of one of the Three Musketeers reviving a dead Jew and escaping back to France - which at the time was called Gaul and was part of the Roman Empire anyway.

He really should have stopped before you got in even deeper to deception.

For in Adam all mankind was made a living humanity and in Christ all manknd becomes lost to their Creator.

It is sad when you have been blinded to the truth.

When our patient's are on the operating room table and they get the Pentathol, they begin to get sleepy and then THEY BREATH THEIR LAST BREATH. But low they are not dead, just sedated and the anesthesiologist pushes air down their windpipes and they arise as from the dead.

It's called 'infamy'. I'd think a physician would be 'more' well-spoken.

Infamy is a noun and infamous is an adjective that describes the noun subject Jimmy Swaggart.

Are you a grammatician?

Nope - just interested in using as few words as possible.

"A title makes not the man, example Reverend Jimmy Swaggart of infamy"

"But if there is no resurrection of the dead, not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain; your faith also is in vain. Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we witnessed against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless"

YOU GOT IT RIGHT ON THE MARK PREACHER......

Right...you have used them correctly. Learn to 'quote' :)

Side note - I wonder how Christ will respond to you?

"aj - infamous sinner who rejected and denied me." comes to mind.

Oh I think that Jesus has a lot more to worry about than me as he is having his own troubles explaining to the Father why he is worshipped as a new god. Christs rear is in the fire as we speak.
