Climate Changers Were Right - Bigger, Badder Storms

Ever recorded? Do the climate changers really think the world is only a couple of hundred years old? Oh yeah, don't forget to blame American decadence.

The strongest hurricane in recorded history is heading right toward Mexico's Pacific Coast — specifically the state of Jalisco, which includes the tourist haven of Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara, the country's second-largest city. Intensifying to a Category 5 storm Thursday evening, Hurricane Patricia currently has maximum sustained winds of 200 mph. The last time a Category 5 storm hit Mexico, in 1959, it made landfall in the same coastal region as Patricia is projected to. That storm took 1,800 lives.

So Mexico got hit in 1959 with the a Cat 5 hurricane....
Was that also climate change/global warming?

Was that the Republicans fault as well?

The hyperbole form these asshats never ends does it.... Not the most powerful hurricane ever recorded. Not the biggest. Not the baddest. But it is a large one...no doubt of that. Hopefully the people in the impact zone can get the heck out.

For those who care for some accurate, non hysterical end of the world bullshit, here is a list of historical hurricanes.... As can be seen there were some real doozy's in the past. Below that is the wiki page for the 1950 hurricane season. Way, way more hurricanes then than any other time we have on record. So much for the more frequent crowd. There were many more hurricanes in the 1950's than at any time since.

You lose yet again on simple fact.

Strongest Hurricane Ever Measured Roars Toward Mexico's Coast

This is like a snowstorm at sea level on the Equator, or a hundred twenty degrees on a July night at the South Pole.

You lose! Your spin is not only partisan crap, it is absurd!

No, it's not you silly person. The only people spinning are ignorant jackasses like you pushing the fraud of man made global warming.

Was acid rain a natural event or man made?
Was SMOG a natural even or man made?

Yes or no?

The Strongest Hurricane Ever Recorded Is About to Hit Mexico

Probably, most problems are exacerbated by Republicans and most problems are the result of Republican behavior.

Hurricane Patricia, Cat 5 Hurricane is hitting Mexico.

Catastrophic Hurricane Patricia Makes Landfall in Mexico (FORECAST)

Hurricane Patricia became the strongest hurricane ever known to make landfall on the Pacific coast of Mexico after the center of its eye crossed the coast of Jalisco state early Friday evening. Catastrophic damage is expected along a narrow path as the eye slices into the interior of southwest Mexico Friday night.

Earlier in the day, Patricia became the most powerful tropical cyclone ever measured in the Western Hemisphere as its maximum sustained winds reached an unprecedented 200 mph (320 kph) and its central pressure fell to 879 millibars (25.96 inches of mercury).

(MORE: Mexico Prepares for Patricia)

At 6:15 p.m. CDT, the eye of Hurricane Patricia made landfall near Cuixmala in Jalisco state of southwest Mexico. Maximum sustained winds at landfall were estimated at 165 mph. While those were off from Patricia's extraordinary peak intensity, they still make Patricia a Category 5 hurricane capable of catastrophic wind damage in the immediate vicinity of the eye.

In addition to its unprecedented 200-mph (320-kph) sustained winds earlier Friday, Hurricane Patricia now holds the record for lowest pressure in any hurricane on record. With a minimum central pressure of 880 millibars (25.99 inches of mercury) at the 4 a.m. CDT advisory, Patricia broke the record of 882 millibars set by Wilma almost exactly 10 years ago. At the 1 p.m. CDT advisory the minimum central pressure was lowered to 879 millibars (25.96 inches of mercury).

Data from an Air Force Hurricane Hunter airborne reconnaissance mission late Thursday night provided critical data demonstrating the extreme intensification of Hurricane Patricia in near-real time. A new NOAA reconnaissance aircraft reached the eye of Patricia early Friday afternoon to gather additional direct measurements of the storm's intensity.

El Nino for the moment..........................Not a global warming thread....................FYI thread.................

Been through these style storms...................In the eye and near vicinity.........it will deliver hell.

The climate hoax crowd has been predicting an ever increasing number of hurricane that were going to hit the U.S. What happened?

Gee, I don't know about the climate hoax crowd predictions but I'm pretty sure 90% of the scientific community and elected officials in coastal communities take climate change seriously.

That it is a result of man made pollutants or not, I'm not in position to know; I leave that to the experts. Feel free to join the Party of the Ostrich, I have no interest in opinions by you or them.

It's interesting that a category designation of a hurricane is limited to a single element, the maximum wind speed. It doesn't matter if the hurricane's range extends fifty miles or a thousand miles or if the actual wind speed only extends to three or four miles. There was no way to gauge the wind speed of hurricanes prior to the 20th century aviation or satellite technology so it's hard to get a handle on the claim of the "strongest hurricane in recorded history" since recorded hurricane history extends about fifty or sixty years.

Acid rain can be both natural or man made.
SMOG can be natural or man made.

But, that doesn't matter. It is well known that man can screw up the local environment. Please note the emphasis on LOCAL. What has not been shown is a man derived signal that shows mans activities increasing global temperatures. What has also not been shown is that warming is in any way bad. Only in the fevered, fanciful imaginations of those who wish to prosper from the 76 trillion dollars it is estimated (by the UN) that would have to be spent to completely alter the energy system of the planet is warmth bad.

All historical evidence ALL OF IT, shows that a warmer world is a better one. We KNOW that the world was up to 5.5 degree's warmer during the Holocene Thermal Maximum and not a single disaster that the warmists bleat about ever occurred.

Not one.

Cat 5 storms never happened before the combustion engine was invented.<eye roll>

You, just had to know these fucking liberals would jump on this.

The same fuckballs that cried that the world was ending in 2005 after Katrina.

The first fucking category 3 or stronger hits Northern America since 2005, which just so happens to be the longest period in recorded history that North America has not been hit by a cat 3 or stronger. Just so happens el nino is happening again.

Now, these fucking wastes of shit are going to hop all over it, like the deranged fucking asswipes they are.

I hate fucking liberals.

The bible said in the end times storms will be stronger and happen more often.

So did Al Gore way back when he made that movie. He said back then that we were going to have more storms every year and each year would bring a storm more powerful than the last. This is the first storm and it's already the peak of the season.

It came ashore with 165 mile per hour winds. Strong cat 5 no doubt.

Pretty sure the Labor Day Hurricane in 1935 was the strongest hurricane to ever hit North America. Pretty sure.

Liberals are such scumbags.
