So you think the earth will keep getting warmer because of the polution no matter what the sun does?

Nobody in their right mind thinks solar output could ever possibly decrease by an amount that would offset the forcings of our greenhouse gas emissions. Even if the sun plunges way down to Maunder Minimum levels, that only offsets 10 years worth of greenhouse gas emissions.

And no, a FOX News report that badly misrepresents the science doesn't change that fact.

Of course, that's just those pointy-headed egghead scientists saying such things. And they're all part of the vast global socialist conspiracy. You all clearly know better. No, don't worry, that doesn't make you look cultlike at all. Really.

And I have no idea why Frank, Roudy and the rest of the low-information-voter crowd keeps saying that global warming causes cooling. It's not complicated. Warming means warming. Don't ask me why they keep getting that wrong.

The suns output over the last, 50 years say, does NOT match the warming pattern. The magnitude of TSI has NOT been adequate to have caused the observed warming. Those are pretty much showstoppers for Pulkovo's ideas. The radiative imbalance at the ToA HAS been sufficient to have caused the observed warming. That is NOT a product of solar irradiance. It is a product of the Greenhouse Effect.
