The politicization of healthcare has already begun?
Everytime I go to my podiatrist he asks if I own a gun, if I said yes he would assume I'm not a liberal and be forced to charge me more.
How the presence of guns in my home impacts on the treatment my podiatrist provides is beyond me!!

What this post reminds me of is when trigger happy George Zimmerman was stopped for speeding, the cop told him not to "play" with his gun.

Sounds like your podiatrist has you pegged. He just doesn't want to be in the way if (when) you decide to blow away his receptionist.

Why does my children's doctor ask on the registration documents if there are guns in the home?
And my PCP, the podiatrist, dermatologist, how does that have any bearing on my health or that of my children or my wife?

I can think of no good reason, can you?

Same reason why health care providers ask if there is domestic violence in the home.

Would the condition require a different approach if I owned a hand gun rather than a shotgun?
