Under the law, Comey is required to immediately inform the Department of Justice of any attempt to obstruct justice by any person, even the President of the United States. Failure to do so would result in criminal charges against Comey. (18 USC 4 and 28 USC 1361) He would also, upon sufficient proof, lose his license to practice law.

McCabe too as well as everyone who said there was never any impediment to the investigation. Trump just needs to quiet down, stop tweeting and just let these retards make fools of them selves. It's awesome TV.
Nah, he needs to let these lying turds produce PROOF he's done anything wrong .
There's no getting around the fact that if Comey believed Trump was trying to influence his investigation then he (Comey) had a moral and legal responsibility to inform his superiors at DOJ, yet never did so to anyone's knowledge. So he can't very well say that he thought influence was being brought to bear without raising the question of why he didn't report it. Upshot IMHO - there will be no special prosecutor and nothing will come of this other than an awful lot of self-righteous indignation from the Left.
The justification for firing Comey is becoming more apparent every day.
The justification to fire Comey get THINNER everyday. Especial when your clown prince said it was the "Russia thing". Asking Comey to let it go is loyalty to a friend, and in the absence of proof, Comey had nothing. But Comey kept notes.
FIRING Comey is what constitutes Obstruction of Justice.

Here is the deal under the law if Comey believed Trump was trying to obstruct justice he was required to inform the DOJ if he believed that and didn't do so he has a problem on the other hand if he didn't believe that then this whole memo story is a whole lot of nothing.
Keep reading, td. Mueller now as Special Counsel is sending chills of fear down the spines of the Alt Right and the Trumpers. Here is the deal under the law if Comey believed Trump was trying to obstruct justice he was required to inform the DOJ if he believed that and didn't do so he has a problem on the other hand if he didn't believe that then this whole memo story is a whole lot of nothing.
I've been reading that Comey was obligated to inform the DOJ if he felt the investigation was being stymied in anyway. Ruh roh.
If it wasn't him who the hell else could leak a private memo?Tom, do you really think Comey is dumb enough to be the source of leaking the memo, and besides why would this leak be illegal?
Anyone who access to it.If it wasn't him who the hell else could leak a private memo?Tom, do you really think Comey is dumb enough to be the source of leaking the memo, and besides why would this leak be illegal?
