ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A New Mexico judge on Monday declared same-sex marriage legal, ordering the clerk of the state's most populous county to join two other counties in issuing licenses for gay and lesbian couples.
State District Judge Alan Malott ruled New Mexico's constitution prohibits discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.

The Bernalillo County clerk's office in Albuquerque planned to start issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples at 8 a.m. Tuesday

From the state consitution:

Equality of rights under law shall not be denied on account of the sex
of any person.

Which seems to support the ruling. however i find it interesting that also included is:

Perfect toleration of religious sentiment shall be secured, and no inhabitant of this
state shall ever be molested in person or property on account of his or her mode of
religious worship. Polygamous or pluralmarriages and polygamous cohabitation are
forever prohibited. (As amended September 15, 1953.)

Which to me would preclude the whole "wedding photographer" lawsuit under the anti-discrimination laws of the state.

It isn't the downfall. If anything normalizing homosexuality is a symptom of a culture that is already quite sick. It happened in Egypt, Greece, Rome, every civilization that had become culturally advanced for its time. They are destroyed and overrun by a more robust people. It's been that way since Sodom and Gamorrah. Probably even before that.

Why is it that in all of the past advanced cultures the normalization of homosexuality was never passed on as being valuable or beneficial? Whether there is just a recognition that distaste is more widespread than acceptance or the normalization of homosexuality is just recognized as a symptom of societal decay.

Please note that I am distinguishing the existence of homosexuals, who have always existed, to the change in societal construction when homosexuality is treated as normal behavior.

It's certainly in the process. In countries that have already accepted the normalization of homosexualty islam is the fastest growing religion. It's called the islamification of Europe. Not only through immigration and birth rate, but through conversion as the native population rejects what they innately know is wrong.
