Crazy Trump supporter Ronny Jackson (R-TX) loses it at the rodeo

EMS workers? You think some sheriff is going to be better than a doctor? Obviously not. The sheriffs concern was all about throwing the doctor on the ground. At no point in the video does this sheriff assist the girl.

Show me that happening. Lets a video of your claim.

Never said anything about the sheriff being a better doctor. I said that the EMS workers were there and that Jackson was told repeatedly to get out of their way. As far as needing to see a video of the claim? Apparently you didn't watch the news report from FOX 4 News (local station) where they said he was repeatedly told to get out of the way of the EMS workers, and that he refused, which is why the sheriff got involved and Jackson ended up on the ground. Might wanna watch the OP's video with the news report.

You dumb shit. A doctor is a lot more qualified to render aid to somebody than an EMT.

The Sheriff was an asshole. You are an idiot for not understanding it because of your filthy partisan bullshit. Grow up dip shit!

Depends on the situation, as specialists aren't more qualified for first aid than EMT's are. First aid is the primary purpose of an EMT. They show up as first responders, stabilize the victim and get them to a hospital where specialists can start to take care of them. Yes, I do think that EMTs were more qualified to render aid in this situation. Especially when you consider that Jackson probably hadn't been in any real practice as anything other than a specialist (WH doctor), and while he may have training, chances are that the EMTs are better qualified with more up to date training than Jackson who has probably been out of the loop for a while when it comes to emergency care. Also, Jackson didn't have any equipment with him, the EMTs did. Jackson was at the rodeo as a spectator, which more than likely means he'd been drinking. The EMTs were on the job, which means that they were definitely sober and aware of what to do.

You're an idiot for letting your own personal political bias get in the way of what happened. YES, the EMTs were definitely more qualified and better prepared to handle a situation than Jackson was.

You just described yourself. Good job!

There were EMS workers there he was interfering with who requested Jackson step away, that is why the police were involved, because he wouldn't do that.

From someone ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ who'd rather be attended at a medical emergency by EMT's than by a physician.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay smart.

Dude's a doctor.

So what if he's a doctor? That doesn't mean he's up to date on his qualifications for first aid.

Quick question....................if you were in a car wreck, who would you want to have help you out and get you to the hospital...............a board certified doctor who is a podiatrist or some other type of specialist (basically meaning they deal with only one part of the body), or someone who was a certified EMS or EMT, whose primary job is to stabilize the person (meaning they have to know a bit about everything to stabilize them and make them ready for transport)?

Me? I'd much rather have the EMT or EMS get me to the hospital. Then, after I'm stabilized to the point where I will survive, THEN we can have the specialists come in and take a look at me.

To tell you the truth, I much preferred to talk to the Hospital Corpsman when I went to sick call rather than the certified doctor who was a specialist. Sometimes those specialists could easily overlook something or not know. The Corpsmen were trained for a lot of basic stuff. An example of "jack of all trades", as they had to deal with just about everything. And, if it was a 1st Class or better dealing with you, chances are they'd seen it before and knew exactly what would and wouldn't help.

You give me a choice between a doctor at an event who was there for the event and not in a medical capacity who has no equipment, or EMTs who are there in a medical capacity who also have all the equipment needed to render aid?

I'll take the EMTs each and every time.

Keep trying.

You'll eventually convince someone.

My son is an EMT. He would have no problem if a doctor was already on scene assisting one of his patients. None of the interaction between Dr. Jackson and the EMTs is on the bodycam, even though the Sheriff claims he was the one advising the doctor to back off. Makes me a bit suspicious.
