A committee did pass Articles of impeachment against Nixon who then resigned before he could be impeached, to avoid further embarrassment and avoid losing his ability to be pardoned. The pandemic had nothing to do with it. It was paying people more money to stay home that was the main cause. When labor has the upper hand, they can demand much more money for services and that's exactly what happened. When labor (the largest expenditure of a business) increases, businesses have to charge much more money for their products and services. The more they charge, the more we have to pay thus inflation.

Nixon actually had a sense of putting the country above himself. While Nixon was awful, Trump is just so much worse than Nixon. It's not even close.

No mis-truths here pal. We are all here and we all witnessed it together. Trump presided for nearly a year with the pandemic and no vaccines or advanced therapeutics in sight, yet inflation stayed at around 2%. When Dementia singed that pork bill, inflation started to go up.

Partly true finally, in that the weaponry and goods left behind was the property of the Afghan government. And just as wrong in that there was no possibility of gaining anything back without restarting the war.

More important than either is the fact that the US pulled off the most successful evacuation of a defeated army in the world's history!
