Whenever I read Coyote's posts, I always get this weird sensation we're being put on. It's not that her posts are any stupider that what you might come across if you strike up a conversation with the person standing behind you in line at a gas station. But with those people you just assume when they read the paper it's the sports section and when they research a topic it's a topic like "celebrity homes" and you can almost forgive the stupidity of something like the line above on the grounds of sheer ignorance.

You can even understand the motives of someone who states something like the line above, but states it insincerely. Someone in sympathy with the goals of the people who stole the election from Trump would see the utility of pretending it was Trump who was the threat to democracy. Most Jews are in this camp.

But Coyote isn't Jewish. And she has seen enough evidence--here, if nowhere else--to cause a rational, reasonably intelligent person without tribal ulterior motives to conclude that, in fact, Trump is the victim of the attack on our democracy, not the cause of it. And yet, with seeming perfect sincerity, she is here posting obvious nonsense. Very odd.
